The Founder
A vision by Samuele Mazza
Samuele Mazza — designer, aesthete and collector — has spent a lifetime shaping interiors, exhibitions and objects that celebrate Italian craft. Borgo Tancredi is the most personal expression of that vocation: a working estate transformed into a private stage for beauty.
Every wall, every antique, every olive tree was chosen. Terracotta was hand-mixed to catch the Sicilian sun; wrought-iron beds were forged by local artisans; centuries-old doors were rescued from noble houses and given new thresholds to cross.
The result is not a hotel. It is a home — one that opens its doors, on carefully chosen occasions, to guests who understand that the finest luxury is the one that feels lived-in.
"I did not want to build a place to visit. I wanted to build a place to remember."
— Samuele Mazza
